Network History

Dr. Isabel Logan and Dr. Tara McLendon began building the foundation for the Social Work and Law Enforcement Network in October 2020. They met because of a common commitment to networking and sharing information regarding Police Social Work. The Social Work and Law Enforcement Network (SWLE Network) developed from this initial meeting to a current membership of over 80 members from across the United States. The SWLE Network meets every other month for a large group gathering.  Dr. McLendon has stepped aside to continue her research and scholarship.
